Flowers in Hilton Head

Danielle got a little snap happy when it came to all of the colorful flowers in Hilton Head.  While the rest of Ben's family took a day trip to Savannah, Georgia; Danielle and I went to Shelter Cove to snag a few pictures.  Lots of other flower (and beach and Harbor Town) pictures to come, but here's a little preview.  Keep checking out our facebook page for more pictures, additional updates (as they come up), and don't forget to click "like!"

The colors are to die for!

Can't wait to share more pictures soon!

Wanda and Pancake!

Wanda wanted some pictures of herself with her adorable (and maybe a wee bit spoiled) Chiweenie mix, Pancake to send to her family.  We were happy to oblige!  Wanda was a blast to work with, and Pancake was just happy to play in the park for a little while (until she got too hot, then you could tell she was saying, "Where's my air conditioning and spring water?!?").  Enjoy a few of the pictures we took that day (and be sure to head over to our facebook site to see more and click 'like'!)

Next up, we've got an engagement session with Howard and Ebony and then we can set to editing pictures from our family vacation at Hilton Head Island!

Quick update

SiTP has been ridiculously busy!  We had a fun photo session with Wanda and her Chiuwinny mix, Pancake before heading off to Hilton Head Island for a family vacation (and lots of great photo opportunities!).  We'll be back soon with plenty of great pictures to share, so keep checking back!  As soon as we're back from our relaxing trip, we've got a fun engagement session with a couple who want to go retro with all black and white pictures!

ROMP 2011!

We're excited to be heading off to ROMP in Owensboro, KY to watch an amazing lineup of bluegrass artists (Danielle is ridiculously excited to be seeing Steve Martin playing his banjo.  If she lets me, I'm going to snag a picture of her with the arrow through the head while we're at the concert -- yes, she has a classic Steve Martin "arrow through the head" that her dad bought at one of Martin's stand-up performances in the 1970s).  We didn't get media passes for ROMP, so we'll be shooting the tough shots from the crowd -- but those shots are also the most fun!  Hope to have some great pictures to share with you guys when we get back!

Having fun is the key

We met up with Carrie and Karl this afternoon in between bursts of thunderstorms to snag a few "Kentucky Derby formal" style pictures at the arboretum.  It was a fast shoot, but Carrie and Karl laughed and joked around throughout -- and their attitudes show in the pictures!  When you're having fun, your pictures always turn out better.  Here's a little peek into their world:

"No, I don't want to look at you, Carrie!!"

Some of Danielle's favorite pictures are hiding away on Ben's computer -- she might be able to get them up here eventually!

An evening with Alex!

Our morning session got completely rained out today, but we were lucky enough to be able to reschedule for this evening at the Arboretum.  We had a blast playing with Alex and her adorable Manchester Terrier.  Check out a little preview!

We had a blast -- and got some great pictures of Alex and D'art with all of the gorgeous flowers currently in bloom (you'll have to check our facebook page a sampling of those!).  Thanks for being a great model, Alex!!

Gearing up for an exciting weekend

We're off to a stellar start with shoots every day this weekend.  We start off on Friday with a lovely gal named Eva and her daughter; we're spending Saturday with Alex and her dog; a shoot with the ever lovely Carrie and the mostly lovely Karl (we kid, we love Karl) on Sunday; and then we jump into a family session with Brandi and her children on Monday!

After Monday, we get to take a little bit of a breather -- mostly to edit all of the pictures we're going to be taking like crazy this weekend!

We can't wait to spend time with each of you, and we're looking forward to being able to capture some happy times that you can share with your friends and family!

Looking forward to seeing you all!
